Four people teach here.
Where they trained, who taught them, and — more usefully — what each of them is actually like to be taught by. A list of certification acronyms tells you nothing about the hour you are about to spend in a room with somebody.
Nobody here is a physiotherapist, an osteopath or a doctor, and nobody here will pretend otherwise.Where that line sits.

Explains the reason for everything, sometimes at more length than the class strictly needs. Will stop a room of twelve to fix one person's shoulder and make it feel like a group discovery rather than a correction.
Suits — People who are nervous, people who want to understand what they are doing rather than copy it, and anyone pregnant or postnatal.
Teaches Foundations, Reformer Flow and Prenatal & Postnatal.

Priya Raghunathan
Fast, precise, and cues with her voice rather than by demonstrating, so you learn to listen instead of watching the front of the room. Counts in a way people find unreasonably calming.
Suits — People who already know the machine and want the class to get on with it, and anyone who learns better by being told than by being shown.
Teaches Reformer Flow and Tower & Chair.

Ruth Ferreira
Asks more questions than she gives instructions. Will spend ten minutes of a fifty-five minute class finding out what your back actually does before anybody touches a spring, and considers that ten minutes the class.
Suits — People with a back or a neck that has been grumbling for years, people coming out the other side of physiotherapy, and anyone who wants to be watched properly rather than counted.
Teaches Foundations, Tower & Chair and Rehab & Recovery.
Training, lineage and when they teach →Instructor — Jump Board, Reformer Flow
Elin Sowerby
Loud, funny, and completely uninterested in whether the class looks elegant. Counts out loud, plays music at a volume the rest of the building can hear, and will absolutely notice if you have quietly taken a spring off.
Suits — People who already train and miss being out of breath, ex-runners, and anyone who finds the reverent version of pilates slightly hard to take seriously.
Teaches Reformer Flow and Jump Board.
